Married by a JP

I have read through your site's verbage concerning canonical requirements of marriage and it seems to me that my marriage did not meet those. I was married by a JP. My ex wife had converted from catholicism to methodist at the time of marriage. Obviously I am catholic....would I require an an,annulment to remarry??
